Silica (also known as Silicea) is often referred to as the “conditioning” cell salt. It plays a crucial role in strengthening and healing collagen throughout the body, particularly in bones, hair, nails, and teeth. This is reason why you will find it in cell salt combinations designed to address osteoporosis, osteopenia, weak and loose teeth. Additionally, it is known for its ability to assist in the healing of inflammations. As a result, Silica is commonly used to address a variety of acute complaints, including colds, coughs, sore throats, earaches, boils, abscesses, and for healing after injury.
For nearly 200 years, cell salts (also referred to as biochemic salts or tissue salts) have been trusted by homeopaths and home prescribers worldwide. One of the key advantages of these salts is that they are considered safe for people of all ages, including infants, children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and the elderly.
Important! A Myth Busted!!
Please be assured that Silica, especially in a 6X potency (a low potency), cannot move or displace your implants or eject your dental fillings. This includes breast or joint implants (such as hip, knee, or shoulder implants).
However, when used in a higher potency (such as 30C or 200C), the homeopathic remedy Silica has the potential to eject small foreign bodies from under the skin, such as splinters. This can even apply to splinters that have been lodged in the skin for months or years. That said, I have not seen the low potency cell salt (6X) achieve this. It can also help a boil or pimple to ‘open up’ so that pus can drain. This, as well as a splinter, are both ‘subcutaneous’ superficial events. I have never seen (or heard of) Silica pushing out a device that has been surgically placed in the body.
While Silica cannot eject implants, it can be address the discomfort caused one. Sometimes, an implant feels awkward or as if it doesn’t “fit” properly. In such cases, Silica can help to strengthen or heal the tissues surrounding the implant, making it feel more comfortable. During this healing process, people sometimes (rarely in my experience) feel as if the implant is “moving” or jiggling slightly. However, there’s no need to panic—this is the implant settling into place. It is not going to dislodge or move out of your body.
