INACTIVE INGREDIENTS
The tablets are pressed saccharum lactose. This is a pharmaceutical grade of sugar from cow’s milk that is completely purified of milk proteins. It does not contain any casein, whey, or other milk proteins. According to the manufacturers, individuals sensitive to dairy—specifically to milk proteins and casein—can take these tablets safely. People who are lactose intolerant (allergic) should not take them.
Two extra ingredients (a tiny amount of each) help the tablets retain their shape: Magnesium stearate and a pharmaceutical grade (plant based) starch. Both are classified as safe: #1 (out of 10) i.e. the safest, according to the Environmental Working Group’s Database.
